Organized two IHL dissemination seminars for 70 staff members with the support of the Government of Japan.
Hold meetings with relevant authorities including Ministry of Foreign Affairs aiming at activating a Japanese IHL national committee and discussing current hot topics of IHL.
Sent two “judges” for IHL moot courts held by the ICRC in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Organized a “Red Cross Symposium” with the theme of safety of volunteers in conflicts. Two Syrian Red Crescent volunteers were invited to deliver a speech.
