Internationally, the DRC has cooperated with the IFRC and the RCRC climate centre to support NS in Armenia, Georgia, Kenya, Malawi and Nepal to address the needs of vulnerable people in national and global policy dialogue. The support was aimed at strengthened capacity to support governments in elaborating their national adaptation plans, and specifically to help ensure that the adaptation needs of the most vulnerable are duly considered in national planning and policies.

What activities has your National Society undertaken in cooperation with your government towards achieving the goals related to DRR, community resilience and climate change adaptation as set out in the Sendai Framework for DRR, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the outcomes of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (‘Paris Agreement’)?
