We have learning and educational programmes where safety and security of volunteers are a part of the programme. We collect and disseminate relevant data to the authorities, and share good practices.

7. What activities have you undertaken to facilitate partnerships towards strengthening the safety and security of volunteers?

NorCross has facilitated partnerships on Health Care in Danger at the regional level between the Colombian, Honduran and Salvadorian Red Cross, as well as between the Lebanese Red Cross and Libyan Red Crescent. As lead of the Community of Action for Ambulance and Prehospital Services in Risk Situations, NorCross facilitates collaboration among ambulance stakeholders both within and outside the movement globally.
