- All SRC delegates and HQ staff going on mission abroad are obliged to complete the “Stay safe personal security” as well as the “Stay safe security manager” course. In addition all SRC delegates and HQ staff are familiar with the fundamental principles and have to sign and adhere to the code of conduct.
- In fragile countries such as for example Honduras, El Salvador, Lebanon or South Sudan, SRC delegates and local staff are familiar with the “Safer Access Framework” and/or “Stay Safe toolkit”. More than to familiarize our staff, we aim to train all of them on “Stay safe” and, in the future, to ensure yearly follow-up trainings.
- In the health project of Honduras, attitude and behavior of health staff was analyzed and adaptation measures towards a more empathic behavior of health staff, a better quality of health service, and a greater rapprochement to community health committees were taken.
- In Syria SRC supports a Danish RC project where health facilities are supported. SARC volunteers and staff are trained and apply the Safer Access Framework

Switzerland is actively advocating for a better protection of health care. Please see the reporting of Switzerland.
