The pledge was discussed after the IC with the responsible for emergency aid of the Ministry concerned, but no concrete action plan was agreed upon.

On 6 July 2016 the CEO and Scientific coordinator of the Belgian Red Cross-Flanders had a meeting with the Minister of Development Cooperation – Mr. De Croo – and two of his staff to explain the principles of Evidence Based Practice and the work of BRC in this field. The present pledge was mentioned. No concrete action points or plan were agreed upon.
