1. Which measures have you put in place in order to enhance the secure functioning of health care (personnel, facilities and medical transport)?

1- Awareness sessions
2- Dissemination activities
3- The Emblem law has recently been approved by the President of Afghanistan
4- Neutral and impartial humanitarian operations in the field to improve the credibility of ARCS
5- Good and independent behavior with all military groups

What strategies has your National Society adopted to promote and implement the HCiD recommendations throughout the country?

1- The ARCS HCID internal guideline is prepared
2- The HCID is interpolated in the ARCS Strategy 2016-2020

2. What concrete actions have you conducted to collect and analyze data related to violence against the wounded and sick, health care personnel and facilities, and medical transport? How did you use this information to develop practical measures to address such violence?

In regard to data collection nothing is still done, but we will try to do something in the future.

3. What actions have you taken to enhance your staff and volunteers’ understanding of the rights and responsibilities of health care personnel? In addition, have you implemented concrete measures (e.g. Safer Access Framework, “Stay Safe” toolkit, uphold and abide by the Fundamental Principles, etc.) to ensure the safety of health care delivery?

1- We have provided and printed a brochure in this regard.
2- Writing different articles in ARCS quarterly magazine and newsletter
3- Writing and printing awareness messages
4- Conducting different safer access workshops
5- Conducting the ethical principles workshops for our staff and volunteers

4. As an auxiliary to your government, what activities have you initiated with your government to promote and advocate efforts to address the issue of violence against the wounded and sick, health-care personnel and facilities, and medical transport?

We have signed the polio eradication MoU with the Ministry of Public Health in the remote and insecure areas which there is no access for the government
