Comments / Description of activities :

There is broad understanding of the ‘Principles and Rules for Red Cross and Red Crescent Humanitarian Assistance’ (Principles and Rules) within the British Red Cross. The Principles and Rules form part of the induction pack for all new staff in the International Directorate, and staff are also encouraged to complete the relevant online training. The Principles and Rules are often referred to in discussions and decision-making in our work with sister National Red Cross and National Red Crescent Societies.
