Enhancing Capabilities to receive and disseminate foreign and humanitarian aid

Georgia pledges to further enhance capabilities to receive and disseminate foreign and humanitarian aid for providing assistance and protection of populations affected by disasters and other emergencies. It undertakes to ensure efficient, coherent and complementary response to the humanitarian needs, by strengthening internal processes and better coordination before, during and after emergencies.

Action plan

• In order to ensure fair dissemination of Humanitarian aid and increase accessibility of the civilian population, elaboration of the procedures for conducting Humanitarian Aid Assessment and Dissemination Monitoring;
• In order to improve efficiency of receiving the Foreign Aid during the disaster and crises, elaboration and approval of the Host Nation Support Guidelines.
