Austria is Party to the all international humanitarian instruments listed in the pledge. Austria ratified the 2006 Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance on 7 June 2012 and ratified Additional Protocol III to the Geneva Conventions on 3 June 2009. Austria is also Party to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and ratified its [First] Protocol as well as its Second Protocol. Moreover, Austria is a Party to Protocol V to the 1980 CCW Convention since 1 October 2007. With regard to the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), Austria, as Party to the Treaty since 3 June 2014, continues its efforts to promote the ratification and accession to the ATT with a view to achieving its universal application.
