The Finnish Red Cross has reviewed its Statute in 2017, and the principles have been given enhanced role and visibility in the new Statute. The possibilities to take action if a member or volunteer of the Society does not act in conformity with the principles have been increased.

In addition, special training on principles has been provided especially to employees and volunteers working with asylum seekers, and an e-learning option for all is being developed.
