The DRC has worked together with the IFRC and the Movement climate centre on the forecast based financing initiative, including in the implementation of pilot projects aimed at testing the framework and triggers in practise. In 31 of the international projects supported by the DRC, resilliance is an objective.

Nationally, the DRC together with the civil defence organisation has contributed to the Danish prevention strategy. Its role in the Danish disaster management is still being defined, but five branches has been chosen and trained in disaster response.
